OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Education (Tamil) with Honours programme offered by the Faculty of Language and Communication (FBK), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) aims to produce graduates who are proficient in the field of Tamil language, literature and culture, as well as possessing strong pedagogical skills to be applied in the context of education and a multicultural society. This programme is designed to meet the needs of professional teaching staff in the national education system, in addition to providing graduates with the potential to explore opportunities in various fields related to language and communication.


The content of this programme covers Tamil linguistic studies, classical and modern literature, creative writing, intercultural communication, language teaching methods, and the use of educational technology.
